UNW Response to Covid-19

Thursday, February 11, 2021

Dear Students,

While getting to know your crush (or even any new or old friends!) may have been slightly sidelined by the pandemic thus far due to face coverings, physical distancing and the temporary closure of so many places where you would typically gather or spend time together, I am thankful to report that UNW has been crushing COVID-19 and continues to do so! Keep CRUSHING COVID and celebrate in a low-risk way this Valentine’s!

  • As you may remember from the last COVID-19 update, UNW has been approved to offer the vaccine to students through Health Services if/when we receive a supply. In order to be prepared for the time if and when UNW obtains the COVID-19 vaccine for distribution, we would like to know how many students might be interested in receiving the vaccine through UNW’s Health Services. To help us be prepared, we’re asking that you complete a form if you are interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine through UNW.
  • If interested, please fill out the Vaccine Interest Form, which is also located on theROCK within the COVID-19 portlet.
  • If you would like to receive the vaccine and have access to another provider before UNW receives our supply, then take the more immediate opportunity!
  • If you have questions regarding the vaccine, please reach out to your medical provider.

This opportunity to become vaccinated is completely voluntary. UNW does not require students to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine. If you fill out the form indicating that you want to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and then later change your mind, that is fine. If you want guidance regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, please contact your personal health care provider.

Happy Valentine’s Day,

“For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.” - Psalm 100:5
